To start off, I would like to thank Kurt D. Springs for inviting me to this WIP Blog Hop. Kurt writes Science Fiction Novels through Tate Publishing and Enterprises, entitled the Price of Vengeance. It is part of a series called the Dreamscape Warriors.
BIO:
Kurt D. Springs is presently an adjunct professor of anthropology and archaeology in New Hampshire. He holds a PhD. in anthropology from the State University of New York at Buffalo, as well as a Master of Literature in archaeology from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and a Master of Liberal Arts in anthropology and archaeology from the Harvard University Extension School. His main area of interest is megalithic landscapes in prehistoric Ireland.
Kurt writes reviews on Kurt’s Frontier for Invincible Love of Reading. He also has an author blog, Amazon Author Page, and is on Facebook,Google+, Twitter, Goodreads, and LinkedIn. Price of Vengeance has it’s own Facebook page as well.

Aoife Marie Sheridan has loved reading from a very young age, starting off with mills and boon’s books, given to by her grandmother her love for romances grew, by the age of 14 she had read hundreds of them.
Aoife had a passion for writing poetry or in her eyes her journal entries. It was something she did throughout her teens and into her twenties. Aoife won first place for two of her poems and had them published at a young age of just nineteen. Realising she needed to get a real job (What writing isn’t) she studied accountancy and qualified working in that field for many years, until her passion for reading returned and she found Maria V Snyder. Poison study one of her favourite books has been read and re-read countless times.
Aoife’s first book Eden Forest (Part one of the Saskia Trilogy) came to be after a dream of a man and woman on a black horse jumping through a wall of fire and the idea of Saskia was born. Now with her first novel published and taking first place for Eden Forest with Writers Got Talent 2013, Aoife continues to write tales of fantasy and is currently working on her third book for the Saskia Trilogy amongst other new works

Abigail is nineteen, her job she hunts demons.
Her life so far has been tough, having witnessed her family’s death and her mother’s suicide she’s taken in by a priest, who believes her when she says she sees ghosts. Father Peter trains her as a demon hunter with three other members, one being Daniel, who isn’t what he seems.
But when a possession goes wrong, and ghosts start to attack Abigail, the tight rope she had on her emotions soon starts to loosen.
Abigail draws the unwanted attention of the Vatican, and she finds out a lot more then she was willing to learn.
Knowledge is power, but for Abigail it’s her undoing, and the only thing keeping her together is Daniel.
What is the name of your character?
The Name of my Character is Abigail Thornton. She’s Nineteen and a Demon Hunter.
Is she fictional or a historic person?
Demon Hunter? Fictional I would say. LOL
2) When and where is the story set?
The story is set in our world (Earth) most of it is set in England and the rest in Rome.
3) What should we know about her?
Well Abigail has no living family, she witnessed the death of her mother, then her father and brother but she was saved by Daniel. Abigail has lots of her own demons but she found a way to deal with them, Alcohol. After being taken in by a priest he teaches her to become a demon hunter, and she’s good at what she does. O did I mention that she can see ghosts. J
4) What is the main conflict? What messes up her life?
Her feelings for Daniel really cause serious problems; he’s her best friend, her savoir in ways. Yet she won’t let him see how she feels. Abigail’s main fear is of losing one more person that she loves, so she chooses to keep people at arm’s length. Her past comes back to haunt her also, when ghosts start attacking her, and her brother makes an appearance, she can’t cope so she turns to drink but soon everything starts to spiral out of control. So her life is pretty messed up.
5) What is the personal goal of the character?
To understand what really happened to her family.
6) Is there a working title for this novel, and can we read more about it?

Humeira Kazmi
We’d met each other through a mutual friend on facebook more than two years ago. We shared the same interests – more or less – and had the pretty much the same kind of dark sense of humor. So basically, we hit it off quite fabulously and added each other to our profiles, high fived at every mutual respect, or lack thereof, for current issues and personal affairs until one fine day, one of us came up with this brilliant exercise. The ‘one’ being Shamila – inboxed about 30 ladies with the intent of starting a ‘I write the first line and you all join in and let’s make a story!’ event.
Truth be told, no one was really interested and thought it to be rather boring. To make up for that, it became more of a ‘who can write the craziest line.’ And as expected, each line was taken to bizarre places where even Superman would wonder – is this even possible? After the few weeks and numerous face palms, it quietened down till something wonderful happened.
One of the girls wrote a single line about the heroine of the story landing in the bedroom of an unknown person. That sparked a fire in one of our brains. That brain, in this case was Humeira’s. A whole paragraph was written that day just to make this turn happen in the story. And it did. And although, one by one, everyone else had stopped writing (and reading) the posts, we both stuck to it. Turn by turn, we continued. So much so that we had two full pages of the tale. We then decided to close that session and start a new one including just us and two other friends who had proved themselves to be loyal readers of everything that we had written so far.
And so we wrote and we wrote. Chapter after chapter after chapter after chapter. While Humzy and T-Man read it and critiqued it. We had moved to email by then since it felt more personal and private. This delicious ritual of writing continued for two whole years. What had started as an idle facebook fluke became a full fledged novel boasting of two hefty parts (read BOOKS!).
The first book AOIFE AND DEMON: CURSED BE THE SYHLAINS has now met the approval of an editor (with some very good reviews, might we add) and we are just ironing out the last minute details before getting it published. It’s coming soon and YOU need to keep your eyes peeled for anything from Humeira and Shamila!
